Ordered this cake for a little boys party. It was delivered on time. Fluffy light sponge, light cream and gorgeous to look at. Tasty cake. I can't comment on the macarons as these were instantly gone 30secs after the cake was cut. As the cake was fairly light, once defrosted it slid a little to the edge of the cake board after being transported. Didn't bother us but it would be preferred if it was more securely stuck to it's position. We were very pleased and would order again.

The cake was very light lots of chocolate but not too much to make it too sweet. The information regarding defrosting that I received before and with the cake very helpful.
This cake not only looks fantastic it tastes divine and is very moreish. It only took 3 of us to demolish it.

I ordered this cake as an after lunch dessert for three, and after giving a few slices to my two friends to take home, it was gone the same day - with great aplomb and enthusiasm! Although I wasn’t keen on the hard crunchy bits, my friends didn’t mind, so I’m still giving this cake 5 stars. The texture and flavour of the sponge and cream are perfect: light and moist, and distinctly raspberry! I added fresh raspberries around the cake as a decorative feature.
