This made a marvellous Easter cake, decorated as it was with carrots! We added some tiny chocolate eggs, but the cake was the real pull! We got more than 10 portions from it as well.

Arrived in perfect condition and promptly. Cake is beautiful on its own but I added some macarons / berries / sweets around the base as decoration. Everyone enjoyed it; light sponge, zingy raspberry cream and sweet jam. Not too sweet - just right!
I was a bit skeptical with it being delivered frozen, however we were pleasantly surprised and everyone commented on how delicious it was. It was a great addition to our 7 year olds fairy birthday party. A bonus was that we can use Blue light discount too.
The only fallback was the delivery with DPD I’m afraid as it was handed over upside down despite the package containing several arrows and the outside packaging was damaged. However luckily the cake was intact. Overall a positive experience, will defo be using again.
This was for my mother in laws special birthday. We added a cake topper and it really was very impressive. Everyone enjoyed the cake , very moist and good raspberry flavor. Not too sweet with the butter cream filling, just right. I think the cake would easily be enough for 20, we were 15 and there was at least 1/4 left. Would recommend.

We always by our special cakes from Patisserie Valerie. Not once have we been disappointed. This cake is quite possibly the best we have purchased to date.
We’ve tried a few different ones, but this is easily our favourite. Great quality and exactly what we were looking for. Will definitely be reordering.
