The cake went down a treat at my wife’s 60th dinner event.
It was delicious and light and looks fab when cut open too.
We ordered the 8 inch Decadent Chocolate Drip Cake from Patisserie Valerie for a major birthday celebration, which arrived on the day requested. We followed the instructions and on the day placed it on a crystal cake stand. We had a bespoke made violin player with birthday age and name in black metal placed on top, and a 'Happy Birthday' roundel on the side. It looked stunning.
When cut and served, it was moist and delicious. We will certainly be back for more. All the team we communicated with at Patisserie Valerie after ordering the cake were very responsive and helpful.

I was skeptical about spending this amount on a cake but it was a special birthday. The cake arrived with a little damage to the icing, which would be due to the transport, it obviously didn’t affect the tase. This cake was so fresh, soft and tasty, I would recommend it. As someone who knows kids don’t appreciate the costs of buying a decent cake or the time and efforts into making one, this was worth it for a 16th birthday. Will definitely be using the company again.
Our cake was lovely and light, not too sweet and everyone loved it.
It defrosted perfectly in the fridge the following morning I added some gold leaf and fresh flowers from our florist.

They were honestly great. The sponge was soft, the icing was creamy but not too sweet, and they looked really cute too. The chocolate one was my fave, super rich but still light.

The Rainbow Bliss cupcakes were a total hit! Bright, colourful, and seriously tasty – the sponge was soft and fresh, and each one had its own little twist. Great for kids and grown-ups alike. They brought big smiles all round. Would definitely buy again! 🌈🧁
